Simple Snack Ideas
1. Raw vegetables, such as celery, cauliflower, broccoli, green peppers, green beans, cucumbers, mushrooms, or zucchini can be served with a lowfat dip.
2. Fresh fruit in season, cut in slices or halves, such as apples, oranges, bananas, peaches, grapefruit, grapes, melons, pears, plums, or strawberries.
3. Lowfat quick breads and muffins, such as pumpkin, qucchini, banana or bran.
4. Non-sugared cereals, snack mixes made with popcorn and whole grain cereal.
5. Lowfat yogurt with fresh, frozen, or canned fruit.
6. Shakes with lowfat milk or yogurt and fruit.
7, Unsweetened fruit juices.
