Our new 2007-2008 class of students have found their way to our Garden of Reading- children grow in here!
Students will each have the opportunity to help out in our classroom when they see which seat they will be sitting in on our Rocket!
Just as adults need to follow the rules (road signs) when they are driving, our students are in charge of following the classroom rules also. Their goal is to keep their car on green for the week!
Students who are "caught doing something good" are given a fish with their name on it. We put the fish in the net and at the end of the week, Mrs. Naylor goes fishing for our student of the week.
"Math makes you smart, go figure!" This board is where we doing our morning calendar, weather chart, Rocketship math.
As students walk towards our room, they are greeted by our "Wel-gum" Bulletin Board!
Students are also reminded that they are "priceless treasures" to Mrs. Naylor!
Each month we focus on a different character theme, for September we focus on RESPECT!
Above is our "Spotlight Words" otherwise known as our Word Wall. Each week we focus on a different set of Spelling words that are posted in the "Now Playing" block to the left of the theater.
Above is our classroom community puzzle where even though students come from different towns, they are still part of our classroom community.
